to Add to Calendar 2024-10-24 12:00:00 2024-10-24 14:00:00 SECC Day at the State Fair FAMILY PASS:  IF YOU PRE-PURCHASED A FAMILY PASS, PLEASE PICK IT UP AT THE SECC TABLE OUTSIDE GATE 4 ON THURSDAY OCTOBER 24 FROM 11:45AM-1:45PM.  PASSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE GATE.   State employees get: FREE *Admission to the Fair  (Must enter between 12 and 2pm) FREE *Parking  $25 for a pass to bring up to four of your family members.  Must enter with you on Oct. 24 between 12 and 2pm.  Must be pre-purchased by Oct. 23.  PASSES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. Help raise funds for SECC by signing up for: Water Gun Balloon Competition (limited number of entrants) 12:15 PM - 12:30PM Donation: $5 Challenge fellow agencies or divisions within your own agency for a fun race.   SECC Scarecrow Making Contest Livestock Show Ring in the Agriculture Building 1:00 PM Come root on your fellow state employees as they compete to see who will make the best scarecrow!  "Vote" for the team you think will win, and you will have the opportunity to win an Omaha Steak Package! Votes are $1 each and proceeds benefit the the 4H Foundation.   Frozen T-Shirt Contest Outside Agriculture Building (south side of Fairgrounds) 1:30 PM Donation: $5 Thaw a frozen t-shirt and successfully fit your head and arms into the t-shirt as for normal wear. The first person to do so is declared the winner!   Some cool raffle items Outside Agriculture Building. Drawing held at 1:45 PM Tickets are just $1 each or 6 for $5.   *Show your badge for free admission. Carpool as a group, show your badge and get 2 hours free parking. (To park, enter on 19th Avenue and Encanto, or 19th Ave. and Monte Visa.  To enter the Fairgrounds, go to Gate 4, directly in front of the Colosseum.
