Charity Application deadline is May 31, 2021!
The Arizona STATE EMPLOYEES CHARITABLE CAMPAIGN (SECC) is accepting applications from 501(c)(3) charities that have a Federal ID number and provide direct health and/or human service, environmental service amd/or historical preservation. In addition, we have added charities that provide animal welfare services for companion animals in Arizona.
Read all the eligibility requirements and complete the online application today.
It’s fast, and simple. If your application is approved, your charity will be eligible for an opportunity to receive donations from State of Arizona employees for a two-year campaign cycle, beginning with the SECC 2021 Fall Charity Campaign.
Don’t hesitate. The application deadline is May 31, 2021. No LATE applications will be accepted.
Note to Federations: You must submit your application before your Member Charities can be completed.

Animal welfare charities are eligible for inclusion in the SECC Campaign. Animal welfare charities are defined as those charities that promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of companion animals in Arizona.
DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS
With the myriad of natural disasters like Hurricane Laura, the wildfires in the west and our public health crisis, nonprofits work extra hard to tend to those in need. Many SECC charities provide efforts to assist during times of crisis.

Designate a Qualifying Charitable Organization or Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization and reduce dollar-for-dollar what you pay in Arizona income tax.
ARIZONA CHARITABLE TAX CREDIT
Give to a qualified charity that provides immediate basic needs to residents of Arizona who receive temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) benefits, are low income residents of Arizona, or are children who have a chronic illness or physical disability and get a dollar-for-dollar Arizona state income tax credit. Couples who file jointly can reduce their state taxes by up to $800. Individuals or head of household filers can claim a tax credit of up to $400. Your donation may also be claimed as a charitable deduction on your federal income tax.
ARIZONA FOSTER CARE TAX CREDIT
Take advantage of this tax credit opportunity and help kids in foster care. The Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit allows your donations to qualifying organizations to be a 100% tax credit and will reduce, dollar-for-dollar, the amount you owe for state income tax. Couples who file jointly can give any amount up to $1000 and receive the tax credit. Individuals or head of household filers can claim a tax credit of up to $500. Your donation may also be claimed as a charitable deduction on your federal income tax.
